OpComm was founded in June 2016 by a group of Surgical Residents in St. Louis, Missouri, who observed a multitude of inefficiencies in perioperative workflow. Over time, it became clear that these issues were due to poor communication among the multiple care providers involved in perioperative care - surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and trainees.

At OpComm, we focus our efforts on what happens outside of the operating room. By facilitating seamless communication between care providers, our software revolutionizes in-hospital, real-time, HIPAA-compliant communication and helps hospitals refocus their attention on what really matters - patients.
